NORMA Fund - NORMA

What is the NORMA Fund?

The majority of the funds collected by NORMA are directly distributed to performing artists. A small portion is annually reserved for so-called SoCu (Social-Cultural) projects. These subsidies are allocated to performing artists via the NORMA Fund. The NORMA Fund is intended for projects or activities that promote the cultural, social, and professional interests of performing artists. Think of a theater performance or a concert series, for example.

How can I submit a NORMA Fund application?

Before starting your application, please read the NORMA Fund (in Dutch) regulations carefully. More information about submitting an application can be found on this page  (In Dutch).

If you have questions about the NORMA Fund, please contact Robert Zomers via email at: normafonds@stichtingnorma.nl.

The NORMA Fund has four application rounds in 2024:

Submitting the final report

When your project is approved, we ask that you submit a final report no later than six months after the project’s completion. You can find the form for the final report here (in Dutch).

Note: The NORMA Fund reserves the right to reclaim the subsidy (partially) if the final project significantly deviates from the original application. This particularly applies to non-executed projects or projects carried out in a significantly reduced form. Changes within the project plan or budget must always be reported and approved by NORMA.

Special application rounds

In 2020, 2021, and 2022, the NORMA Fund opened several special application rounds, distributing subsidies from the Support Fund for the Rights Sector. It is no longer possible to apply for the NORMA Corona Fund, the NORMA Booster Fund, the NORMA Starter Fund, and the NORMA Phoenix Fund. As a performing artist, you can only apply to the regular NORMA Fund if you are, for example, creating a new performance or concert series.
